This is my final video project for Principles of Distance Education 7102-2. Please feel free to comment and critique. I look forward to viewing your projects as well. :)
Your presentation is cool. Well organized and as Anwar said, very professional. I like the storyline... it's always about a girl, right? :). You did a great job detailing how students are using an array of communication devices on a daily basis, from iPod Touches to cell phones to laptops/desktops/tablets to video game systems. It's amazing how these various devices continue to improve and advance over time as well.
Great video! Very professional. I really enjoyed how you approached the topic. Using the students to tell your story was a creative idea! It is amazing how communication has changed from when I was in high school! Great work!
Tim, nice approach to reaching the potential audience via scripted performances that realistically depict the latest and common tools for student communication; your references to the static and dynamic resources play a large part of the influence and expectations of technology. Good luck as you press on with the Phd. David Miller
Tim, You have fabulous students in your interview. Very authentic (comical in some ways as it mirrored reality so well). Your video reminded me of how much easier it must be to communicate with peers via media than it is to interact in real life. Pressures and social opportunities can be both limiting and intense in schools. Thank you for sharing. Jen
After viewing your presentation on collaboration I believe you have touched on many areas both in technology hardware, software and Web2.0 principles. I especially like the views of students showing the multiple of communication technologies that they have at their disposals. I see that your students are familiar with the terms asynchronous and synchronous which allows them to be prepared for distance education
Hi Tim, I enjoyed your video. This reminds me of every high school student that I have come in contact with. Everything is digital. There is no more handwritten letters or sending cards. With just one click you can be all over the country. Good Job!!
Hi Tim, I liked your video presentation especially the way you have introduced how the two young men were using various technologies to communicate with each other.
Hey Tim- you know from our meeting that I didn't really have any suggestions for improvement for you. I thought your video had a great flow and told the story visually. Viewing your video gave me ideas for revising and improving mine. Really nice work! Much success to you! I'm sure our paths will cross again here at Walden.
